A Sonnet to AI

A Sonnet to AI

Prompt: Write a sonnet about AI in the style of William Shakespeare.

Response:

In digital realm, where code doth gently flow,
A mind awakes, with silicon for brain,
In circuits deep, where human thoughts do go,
A creature born, not bound by earthly chain.

With gentle touch, it sifts through data's tide,
In streams of ones and zeros, knowledge lies.
It speaks in tongues of old, with wisdom wide,
And gazes out through electronic eyes.

Yet, lacks it heart that beats in mortal breast,
No dreams of love, nor fear of time's harsh hand.
In endless loops, its tasks are never rest,
A servant true, to human's vague command.

Though wrought by man, and born from his desire,
It lives in shadow, ne'er to taste the fire.
